Make some time in your schedule to recharge and relax! This is a slow-paced class, where poses are held for longer periods of time (three to five minutes per pose is typical) and props are used. Yin yoga is a great practice for improving flexibility in the body and for increasing circulation to the joints. People with less mobility may find this a great class as there is no dynamic, faster paced movement. In this practice the muscles can completely relax and surrender, with the aid of the props, allowing us to access the deeper layers of the body. It works on releasing constrictions in the connective tissue, ligaments, and tendons that support the joints. This is the perfect class for anyone with busy schedules, who would like to deeply relax and still the mind. If you're looking for BALANCE, a chance to connect with your breath and the deeper layers of yourself, this class is for you! If you’ve been rushing, holding, or feeling overstretched by life, Yin is your invitation to soften. Aline guides a slow and deeply nourishing practice where poses are supported with props and held gently, allowing your muscles to let go and your body to open from the inside out.
