Self - Care Sunday at
Upton Wellness
A Monthly Rhythm of Rest, Regulation & Reset
Recalibration for your body and nervous system
A dedicated rhythm of restoration within the studio.
A Monthly Rhythm
Sundays at Upton Wellness are dedicated to rest and reset with specialist-led sessions each week. This is the quieter side of strength.
Where strength softens, the nervous system resets and the week closes intentionally.

Why Self Care Sunday Exists
Modern life keeps us activated.
Self Care Sunday was created to balance that rhythm.
It is an essential counterpoint to strength-based classes and focused 1:1 work — supporting regulation, restoration and long-term sustainability.
This is not indulgence. It is intelligent recovery This is not about escape. It is about recalibration.
Self Care Sunday sits alongside:
• Weekly membership classes
• Private 1:1 sessions
• Saturday workshops
Together, they form a complete ecosystem.
Strength builds resilience.
Private work refines and supports.
Sunday restores and regulates.
All three matter.

Sunday
Reset and Rest
Yin Yoga
Sunday 26th April 6pm
A gentle invitation to slow sown, soften and come back to yourself.
A gentle invitation to slow down, soften and come back to yourself.
Sunday Reset & Rest is a deeply calming Yin Yoga experience designed to help you release the week, settle your nervous system and create space within both body and mind.
Held at a slow, intentional pace, this session invites you into longer-held, supported postures, allowing the body to unwind naturally and without force. As the body softens, the mind follows — creating a sense of ease, stillness and quiet clarity.
This is a space where nothing is expected of you.
No pressure. No performance. Just time to pause, breathe and be.
A beautiful way to close your weekend and gently prepare for the week ahead — feeling more grounded, restored and connected to yourself.

Aline’s classes are inspired by the Sivananda tradition, offering a holistic approach that goes beyond the physical — gently supporting the body, mind and nervous system together. Her work is also deeply influenced by restorative practices, creating space for true rest, replenishment and healing.

THE ROLE WITHIN THE STUDIO
Self Care Sunday exists to complete the rhythm of Upton Wellness.
Our weekly timetable builds strength, mobility and steady progression. Private sessions offer personalised refinement and support.
Self Care Sunday creates the space to pause.
It is the quieter counterbalance to structured effort — a weekly or monthly moment to regulate the nervous system, soften muscular tension and restore internal steadiness.
This is not about indulgence or escape.
It is about maintenance.
Just as the body requires progressive load to grow stronger, it also requires deliberate recovery to integrate that work.
Breathwork. Yin. Sound. Stillness.
These practices help down-regulate stress responses, support fascial hydration and lymphatic flow and allow the body’s systems to recalibrate — physically, mentally and emotionally.
Because wellbeing is not only muscular.
It is neurological.
It is hormonal.
It is energetic.
When we slow down intentionally, we allow the body to process, reorganise and restore — rather than simply cope.
Within the wider studio ecosystem, Self Care Sunday acts as:
• A reset for regular members
• An accessible entry point for those new to the studio
• A bridge between group practice and private support
• A reminder that restoration is as essential as strength
It is intentionally separate, carefully curated and held in smaller numbers to protect the quality of the experience.
Because strength without restoration leads to depletion.
And restoration without structure lacks direction.
Self Care Sunday holds the middle.

When Deeper Support Is Needed
Some experiences require more individual space.
Alongside our monthly Self Care Sunday sessions, Upton Wellness offers private 1:1 therapeutic work including breathwork, Reiki and sound-based sessions.
These personalised appointments allow for deeper regulation, focused attention and tailored support — particularly during periods of stress, life transition or emotional fatigue.
Private sessions can complement your membership practice or stand alone as a more individual pathway.
