About Felicity

Felicity is a certified Breathwork Facilitator and Usui Reiki Practitioner, with a background in Midwifery (BSc) and Specialist Public Health Nursing (PGDip). Her work is rooted in both science-informed understanding of the nervous system and ancient, body-led healing practices.

Through her own healing journey, Felicity developed a deep respect for the wisdom of the body and the role that somatic and energetic therapies play in supporting emotional, physical and mental wellbeing. This led her to train with Bali Breathwork and to deepen her practice in energy healing.

Felicity holds a calm, compassionate space for those seeking balance, clarity and reconnection — supporting clients to regulate their nervous systems, release held tension and develop a stronger sense of agency and self-trust.

Her approach is gentle, grounded and deeply respectful of each individual’s pace, offering guidance that empowers people to reconnect with the intelligence of their breath and body.

Breath Work At Upton Wellness

Breathwork is a powerful, body-led practice that supports regulation of the nervous system, the release of stored tension and stress, and the cultivation of mindfulness and self-awareness.

Therapeutic breathwork sessions combine techniques such as conscious connected breathing and deep abdominal breathing to guide you into a state of presence, clarity and inner balance. Sessions are held in a calm, supportive environment where you are guided to listen to your body and move at your own pace.

Breathwork supports:

  • Reduced stress and anxiety

  • Emotional regulation and resilience

  • Improved clarity, focus and energy

  • Deeper connection to body awareness and intuition

  • Release of stored tension and emotional blockages

  • Improved sleep and overall wellbeing

Group sessions offer the added benefit of shared energy and connection, while 1:1 sessions provide personalised support and space for reflection, integration and ongoing practice.

Breathwork is not about forcing change — it’s about creating the conditions for the body to regulate, release and restore itself.

FAQ's

Do I need any experience to attend ? No experience is needed. Both Breathwork and Reiki sessions are designed to be accessible to everyone. You’ll be guided gently throughout, with the freedom to move, rest or pause as needed.

What happens in a Breathwork session? Breathwork sessions use guided breathing techniques to support nervous system regulation and emotional release. You’ll be invited to lie down comfortably and follow verbal guidance, allowing the breath to do the work. Every experience is different, and there is no “right” way to feel.

What might I feel during Breathwork? Experiences vary from person to person. Some people feel deeply relaxed and calm, while others notice emotional release, clarity, warmth, tingling or a sense of lightness. All responses are normal, and you are always supported to move at your own pace.

Is Breathwork safe? Breathwork is generally safe for most people when facilitated by a trained practitioner. If you are pregnant, have cardiovascular conditions, epilepsy, or significant mental health concerns, please get in touch before booking so we can advise whether this practice is suitable for you.

What is Reiki? Reiki is a gentle energy-based practice that supports relaxation, balance and emotional wellbeing. During a session, light touch (or hands-off, if preferred) is used to support the body’s natural ability to restore balance.

What happens in a Reiki session? You’ll remain fully clothed and lie comfortably while Reiki energy is offered through gentle placement of the hands. Sessions are quiet and restorative, often leaving people feeling deeply relaxed, grounded and supported.

Can I combine Breathwork and Reiki in a 1:1 session? Yes. One-to-one sessions can be tailored to your needs and may include Breathwork, Reiki, or a combination of both. This allows for a more personalised and supportive experience.

Will I have to share anything personal? No. Sharing is always optional. In group Breathwork sessions, there may be an invitation to reflect or share at the end, but there is no expectation to speak. Your experience is your own.

What should I bring? Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a small blanket or layers if you tend to feel cool. Mats, bolsters and blankets are provided by the studio.

Is this therapy or medical treatment? No. Breathwork and Reiki are complementary wellbeing practices and are not a substitute for medical or psychological care. They are intended to support relaxation, self-awareness and overall wellbeing.

How will I feel afterwards? Many people leave feeling calmer, clearer and more grounded. It’s recommended to drink water, move gently and allow time to integrate the experience after your session.
